cross-platform account/progress?

Do you get a single account that will track my progress cross-platform (i.e. play on both iPad and PC) or do I need to decide on one?

There's no cross-platform whatsoever.

y no cross platform yet. I hope they will but the mobile platform will be a few gamers more.
but first they need to get the game more sutibale fore more devices my ipad3 is too old WTF
and on my iphone 5s is the display too small...........

Since we have to login to their servers, they should be able to allow us to use the same "account" on different devices. To get around this issue, I'll probably wait to play/spend money on it until the Xbox One version comes out. Since Windows 10 allows you to stream/play Xbox One games on a PC -- I'll be able to play either on my couch or on the PC.

Its funny that you say the technology needed isnt there... Hearthstone has been cross platform for about 6 months now. There is no way I could drop real money on a game that forces me to 1 platform.. That doesnt make sense..

Hearthstone, solforge and earthcore all f2p competitors to magic and all have cross platform support.

this may just be a cash grab. its been almost a month since game launch and still haven't seen any patch or updates.
