it would be a big waste of time. You could just make a windows partition or something and let the devs work on something a little less useless

I run Windows in dual-boot, but I spend 98% of my time in Linux. I work, watch movies, play games on Linux. Doing reboot everytime just to play Magic Duels is a huge pain.
So no, it is not waste of time. In a few last years GNU\Linux has become even more popular choice as a main OS.
