didnt need to lay in 94/95 to come across this... one of my friends tried this i told him to ♥♥♥♥ off and left didnt play wiht hime for 3 months so he never played anything like it again...
i mean ... why would you want to play by yourself? what is the point?
Don't even joke about this. Stainless doesn't recognize sarcasm, and taking a post like that seriously and nerfing the cardpool is EXACTLY what I expect from them. The game is bad enough, don't give them bad ideas, T-f00t!
So...because they're having trouble getting complex cards to work, one of the main reasons I like mtg, they're just giving up rather than trying to get more compotent programmers? Come on...I play a Yu-Gi-Oh DS game from 2011 that can handle 4000+ cards without a hitch (okay, th AI takes a while to make a move). I know that it's a different platform, and the Yu-Gi-Oh isn't quite as complex as Magic, but still. Every card in that game acted the way it should have. I really hope they can just fix this thing.
The countdown is what is mostly overpowered about them, obviously!
The real problem seems to be that there are not enough people playing this game to split them into groups.
That doesn't explain Magic 2015, which was good, and was making them money. And as far as I could tell, was continuing to do so (though, admittedly, I stopped paying attention a few months ago when I got a about half a dozen PS3 games to work my way through), and when I came back, it was as dead as it gets.
As far as I am aware, the previous DOTP installations are still playable online.
Gideon, kytheon, jace telepath, jace unraveler, nissa animist, sorin, arlinn kord, sorin, nihiri, ob nixilis, lilliana.
It works very well if in the late game. But early aggresion and enchantments can be a killer before I can properly setup.
Now, right off the bat, I don't know what these cards would be as they'd have to be from the latest sets and I haven't examined the cards we didn't get from them. However, I know they must exist.
1. Are PWs overpowered? Yes, and only due to lack of ways to deal with them. I'll be starting a thread after this post in ways and cards I know. You CAN overcome these decks with the right setup but:
2. This limits other cards you should play. It forces you to gear up for PWs and therefore a lot of cards won't be used. That I can't stand. Yes, we have some completely useless cards that should never see play regardless but we've some great ones that won't see play simply due to dealing with PWs
3. Thing is, PWs, aren't like other cards. THey're almost another player to deal with. Worse, it's got many cards that help them, the Oaths if you will.
All this means we should ask for cards that deal with PWs and restore balance.
Finally! Someone who understands the right way to balance a game!
