Yeah, its not in the game. I mean, 15/15, protection from colored spells, its kinda a hard card to counter.
Yeah, but it's legal in the real game right?
So I say hard to counter and your response is a single spell that isnt in the game? Kinda proving my point there mate.
You said it yourself. "It's not in the game."
You mention a card that's not in the game. I mention a card that's not in the game. I fail to see a problem here.
Still I said "kinda hard to counter", not impossible. So I really dont see your point. We also have ways to counter emrakul in the game. Spell shrivel would work since it isnt a colored spell, casting ulamog would work too.
It is legal in Modern.
The Promised End was the version of Emrakul that was printed in Eldritch Moon, but it wasn't included in Duels because of the difficulty in programming a Mindslaver effect.
a) Protection only works while its on a Permanent. Protection from Colored Spells does not stop an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Creature Spell on the Stack from being targeted by any colored counterspell.
b) The Aeons Torn specifically states that Emrakul can't be countered, which is what Shrivel does.
Oh right, forgot about that. Well, Ulamog still works then.
And there's the handy tip for the day, folks: don't nitpick with GeneralVeers. He tends to fly off the handle and put down a linguistic smack. :)
Side note: Oblivion Strike. Bye, Emmy, nice knowin' ya---OMG, did she just flip me off with her tentacles?? RUDE!
I didnt mean "kinda hard to counter" as in "kinda hard to counter-spell", I think that was pretty obvious.
I mean, what would "kinda hard to counter-spell" even mean?
