+ Superfriends + Ulamog ramp (again green mostly here)
So, to wrap it all up, these are the cards that define current meta: Planeswalkers, Avacyn, White or White/Black (mass) removals, Ulamog, and green cards with good cost/effectiveness ratio: Sylvan Advocate, Duskwatch Recruiter, Tireless Tracker...
Include some of those in your deck and you'll get a highly competative deck no matter what its main theme or colors are.
Stampy and ramp are still hanging around from last season too.
Izzet pop up regularly at 35-40
It feels pretty strong right now since most decks are to slow to do anything.
Its weakness is mass removal, of course :)
I noticed the power of RB mad vampires, that first strike when attacking with 3/4 attack creatures is insane.
But mass removal or "twin bolt" shreds the deck appart
White Weenie is OP till rank 30 or so, suffers alot from mass removal/removal
Same thing with Izzet Prowess, maybe more, single target removals shreds the deck appart
Superfriends is cleary top of the meta right now, PW are a ♥♥♥♥ to get rid of and if u dont u most likely lose.
Stampy is good and ramp also, ppl seem to have forgoten how crazy R/G ramp can be but they suffer alot in matchups against agroo decks that take to the sky like white weenie and izzet prowess.
BW i assume its the alies lifegain deck, very strong with solid removal, still vulnerable to mass removal
Dont think i have seen the GW soldiers but i can assume uses Sylvan advocate, tireless trackers, etc...
Not too much white weenie anymore. If you wipe the board early, white weenie falls apart very quickly.
I got to rank 40 with an Izzet burn deck.
GW soldiers is akin to WW but it splashes for ulvenwald mysteries and runs it's own sweepers if you go wide against it. (in particular tragic arrogance)
BW<> value is the <> creatures backed up by B+W's utility spells and filling in the gaps in the mana curve.
Wow, my thoughts exactly. I would add that these are long game decks. They have a good chance of stabilizing against an aggressive deck, however they really kick in when you have 5+ mana.
Tireless Tracker would not be as good if priority worked properly.
Another deck that can win more than half its games above 35 is mill. I don't see much mill, but a lot of the top tier decks are not tuned up against it.
