Return target card in exile to its owner's graveyard
Question: Should Magic have effect that returns chosen card to its owner's graveyard or hand?

Up til now, there are only 2 cards that have similar effect: Pull from Eternity and Coax from the Blind Eternities. Each of them has its own drawback. Pull puts the card to bottom of library, which is hard to access unless with cards like Grenzo, Dungeon Warden, which put that card in graveyard. Coax can only targets Eldrazi. This is not counting cards that put itself to hand (Eternal Scourge) or cards that put opponent's card to graveyard (processors) or cards that put a specific card to battlefield (Oblivion Ring, seriously a trolling example).

So, should Magic have effects that recur cards from exile to a more accessible zone like hand or graveyard? Imagine an enchantment (or creature or artifact) that reads: "{mana cost}: Return target card in exile to its owner's graveyard", or an instant or sorcery with such effect.

In a discussion with my friend, one of us thinks that this effect is dangerous and will somehow broke magic, for example allowing you to recur any extra turn spell indefinitely (new extra turn spell has rider "exile this spell" at the end to prevent it to be recured). The other person on the other hand thinks this effect do nothing on its own, and spending extra mana while not advancing the board or get card advantage will keep such effect from seeing constructed play.

What do you think?

In Duels? There's the Eldrazi "processor" abilities... But, that really depends on the generosity of your opponent.

In general MtG? The game had the Wish cycle from Judgement. However, since they renamed the RFG zone, those Wishes cannot grab a card from Exile. Now, while "Exile ~" is usually a suitable drawback, but there are cards like Panoptic Mirror and Eye of the Storm that will allow you to keep playing it ad nauseam.
