5 attempts to join a Two Headed game with a friend, continued with "Timed out, please try again message" 5 times, with restarts of Duels between each Time out message...
which I don't mind but then there are people running all 1/1 and 2/2 creatures.
Then there's people running meta decks with full cards, holo everything, and card sleeves + avatar upgrade.
I use 2HG to play around with vehicles and pilot decks I modified with the deck builder and some matches are blowouts (i.e. win or lose in 4 turns or drag it out because of meta decks).
and when I do many player disconnections make you play vs. CPU or alone,
It's rare when a match is balanced and fun, plus, bugs are fixed every 3 months...
I have the feeling the developers want this game to malfunction on purpose so people will turn into the actual trading card game. But I did stop buying those too, hehe...
Magic 2012, 13 & 14 are better games IMHO. However I play a lot PvP here in Duels :)
In my experience, most of the people I get paired with in 2HG seem to be running starter decks with really poor base set choices and pretty much no synergy. I played with a guy last night who had a 100 card mono black deck. Worst deck I've ever seen in the worst mono color in Duels as well.
I usually stick around in those games anyway since I can carry people pretty well if I run my land ramp deck, but it sure does get old when it feels like 2v1 all the time.
The biggest issue I have besides that is most people don't take mulligans when it would be smart to do so. It seems like people are regularly taking starter hands with 1-2 lands in colors that don't allow them to play anything in their hand like that is fine. They probably go to the forums after they lose and complain about "mana screw" when in fact they just don't know how to play very well.
