Planeswalker decks are not overpowered or unbeatable. I usually quit when playing them because most decks are at a massive disadvantage against planeswalker decks which (always) feature a large amount of removal, and because that's not fun to play against. I don't enjoy when my turn is repeatedly me playing a thing, then my opponent removing it. But if I built decks that had more speed, it would be trivial.

Just play Blue/Red speed mills. PW decks are helpless against those.

The point is that I don't want to play the same thing all the time, and most deck types are vulnerable to PW's. So often I'll quit, not because I don't have a chance, but because it'll be boring either way.

No, not OP. I beat them with aggro decks most of the time, board wipes or not. The funniest is to beat Superfriends with RDW consisting mostly of Origins cards.
Some of these new cards changes things up a bit though. I love this new card called Yahenni's Expertise. -3/-3 to all creatures and you can play any card cost 3 or less for free. What cards can you play for free with that? How about any oath enchantment? Or Liliana? Maybe Imprisoned in the Moon on an enemy PW? Dark Intimations and Tezzeret are nice additions too.

Honestly every deck has it's weaknesses. The fact that a PW deck has so few, beats most decks out there and forces a change in the meta just proves how OP it is. Think I'll add some Smuggler's Thopters in there too. ;)

i agree. its also super unfun when every card is basically 3 different cards in one.
To make it even more unfair I loaded a handful of board wipes into my deck too. Trollolololol

I literally just played against a deck like that. Nothing but planeswalkers, removal, counters, and board wipes. Literally nothing I can do against these decks.

Planeswalkers are just OP cards. I don't think the designers factored in the power for the cost of several planeswalkers in conjuction with eachother. Hell, originally I assumed you could only have one planeswalker on the field at a time.
That was me. No board wipes and counters just enough removals to buy time. And only the Gatewatch, 6 planeswalkers. Ajani's ultimate is insane, it can ultimate all the others.
I started playing this deck today and I am winning ranks and have lots of people crushing the game.
I know it is not a funny deck, I hate playing against it. I just want to see how far can I get with this deck.

Nope, as many as you want. I had this 1 match where I had half a dozen PW cards and my creature tokens had no space on the board. I literally had tokens phased through my library!

Ajani is definatly a fun one. Give all PW 5 counters and all creatures 5 +1/+1 counters.
Its not only the planeswalkers. A high percentage of legendary cards and certain rares are broken beyond imagination. The reasoning behind that is motivating people to spend more cash on paper magic.

The only only way to reach 40 without those cards is to play cancer decks. Black Red aggro and Blue Red aggro worked for me in the previous expansions. On the contrary any attempt to build a creative deck pathetically failed.

I havent played the latest expansion but up to kaladesh it was:
rush/burn (red + other colors) or
good stuff/ board wipes (broken rares and legendaries)

If you ever played a walkerdeck in duels you should see its weaknes pretty clear: Agresive decks and fliers.
That's why I put board wipes in my PW deck to deal with hoards of cheap creatures/tokens.
I do, too. But well there are only so many good ones in game and you have to draw them. And they don't hit vehicles.
The only reason planeswalker decks aren't more popular right now is because nearly everyone is running red in their competitive decks in Magic Duels. Without red's control/burst damage options it would be a bigger problem than it is.

You can have only one of the same PW TYPE at the same time. Like, you can't have both Jace's on the field - If Jace transforms, the other Jace will fight him for board control.

Well that doesn't change much lol.

That just means if one Jace dies I can just play the other, lol. Plus you can actually have both Jaces' or any other as long as the creature version doesn't transform.
