Why is WTFast not working good anymore for me?

I used to disconnect a lot in FFXIV and experience a lot of rubber banding. WTFast actually solved my issue... for awhile at least. Ever since WTFast moved to Steam I get pointlessly disconnected a lot. As shown in the following screenshot, I'm disconnected from my game because WTFast lost packets, NOT my internet.

This program used to work great for me but I am seeing the return of the rubberbanding and now I get a few disconnects per day that seem to happen at random. A friend of mine who was also using WTFast for the same reasons as me is experiencing the same issues.

So what's going on dev? (Please note I use the non-steam version since I started using WTFast 2 months ago)

Have you tried just manually picking a different WTFast server and see if the results improve? A server close to the game server, or a server close to you would be recommended. In that sample you sent it looks like something changed with the path, but hard to tell without seeing the ping graph. If you contact our support team they should be able to look into this further: http://support.wtfast.com

Yeah i was having a simular issue as well, i had to manually select a japan server to connect to and it resolved my issue.

We are making a bunch of improvements with our automation/intelligence, you should notice it getting better over time.

It doesn't work well because Wtfast is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ program, my internet connection at home is better than Wtfast's connection to my country's servers :D

i think this service is to have better connections over long distances where your normal traffic gets routed suboptimally.

It does help me to get a better connection to US based servers from europe, but i would not expect it to help me get a better connection to frankfurt or NL servers when i allready have a 20ms connection to those.

Oh, I've tried connecting to American servers and my home connection is better than Wtfast's connection, Wtfast is just a waste of money :3
(Did they bribe you to say it's useful too?)

Final Fantasy XIV has American servers?

yeah the servers are either canada or japan, no EU.

Its a very noticable improvement for me personally with this VPN, i always had a bad connection no NA with my ISPs routing.

That's probably because your home connection is not that good. If WTFast was good why would they be bribing people to get good reviews and calling a "troll" everyone who gives negative reviews?

That was certainly stupid, but it doesnt change that it helps me immensely.

and pls dont talk ♥♥♥♥ about me, my connection is decnt and i get sub 20ms latency to EU servers, something americans can only dream of.
But when a connection has be routed across the ocean, stuff can happen and you can get 200ms+ delays from routing.
This service reduces it to sub 100 it seems to me, so it helps me, thats all.
