Raiden III Digital Edition

Raiden III Digital Edition

This is for everyone who played the original Raiden 3....
It REALLY sucks that they took away the beloved purple laser and replaced it with this green crap. The purple laser used to lock onto targets automatically and snake around the screen, able to hit multi-part bosses in several places at once!

The green one only follows your controller direction. Kinda pissed that I paid for this now. That purple laser was my favorite weapon I've ever had in a shooter.

The purple laser is in Raiden 2, Raiden DX and Raiden IV.
I don't think it was ever in Raiden 3 at any stage.

it has piss poor damage to compensate, though if you can avoid getting killed for longer durations then normal, it pays it self off, try raiden 4

I prefer 3 way proton laser
thats why they are options, 1 for each play style

"options" are in cave games

this is just either or choice. However, no matter how I look at it, the proton laser is superior.

that being said, the green laser in raiden 3 is not so bad either. it has decent firepower, and it goes nicely with radar missile

proton laser is good if you are constantly in front of what you want to hit, which is harder for some then others, the benifit of the purple laser is that you can focus more on not dying instead of that and attacking

while red gives all around damage to hurt everyone and blue is pure concentrated firepower

blue = suprior firepower (hardest, but most rewarding)
red = ♥♥♥♥ all (basic starting point)
purple = oh ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ i don't wanna die, but i need to kill ♥♥♥♥ as well (newbies delight, trade focus on attack in favor of focus of avoiding)
green = never played 3 but from what it sounds, its an infrior purple because it lacks the auto aim and only gains so much firepower compared to its brothers that it pales in comparison, for this red would be better because it hits everything with tremendous firepower in its own respect and the homing missiles to it make focus fire possible while dealing with all enemies on screen in a given time frame

don't explain me the basics, also play 3rd one

you can't say whether green laser is better or worse then anything, if you haven't

also, you only have like half hour in raiden iv. I, with my mere 20 hours, and no 1cc am no expert in that game, but even more so, neither are you. Also, did you know, that you can make 3 way laser focus from spread into almost a single line?

yeah, I really don't see much difference between each. There are some games where there are many buttons, and there, gamepad is a better solution, but Raiden with only shot and bomb button is not one of them.

like i said before, its all about comfort, so which ever one you can get the best reflexs off of, but even then the ship doesn't move THAT fast, so to each their own
