Stuck on Level 8: Transparency

Hi,

we solved the three rooms in here and now have 8 buttons lighting in purple. However we don't see any hints about which buttons to press and which not. We don't want to jsut do it with trial and error and also are not looking for a solution on what to do exactly. Just wondering what we are missing to know what to do.
So far, the game was pretty straight forward, but we can'T seem to see anything helpful here.

Okay, so after restarting the level and changing roles, it got kind of more obvious since you got the other view. While only knowing one side of things, you just don't see the correlation.

So yes, problem is solved, finished the level.

Hey, we were stuck too but found the solution by accident unfortunately x) Can someone explains what we should have done ?

This was by far the part where we had the most trouble in the whole game.
We managed to finally get the logic with more thorough communication: I was the body and I described the symbols on the buttons as precisely as possible.
We thought about the places where we could find a grid and then it became obvious BUT I need to ask: are the symbols a proper exact match of the patterns we have to take them from? When my friend described the shapes, there were some that were not exactly the same. We didn't use screenshots to compare but I think it's important to have them match precisely. Otherwise, the players could dismiss the theory by saying it's not close enough.

1. To finish the level, you have to find four symbols, there is one in each room.

2. There are exactly the same as the one seen by the "body" above the button in the central room. You need to use the power to see them from above as the "spectator".

There are exactly the same, but if you are not seeing them, it can be quite confusing.

Hi,

our issue was, that the symbols on the wall are not that obvious for the ghost. I knew at that point, that my mate saw shapes like in Tetris, but not the actual Tetris symbols. And I never saw such symbols.

When we switched roles, I saw that one of the symbols was shaped like the yellow line on the ground, where I earlier realized, that it doesn't quite connect to one end, which I thought was odd. . So after that, we kinda knew what to look for and had it done quite quickly.

I am sorry if anyone got annoyed by my typical "I found the solution" (doesn't explain it to others following with the same problem) post, but I didn't want to just spoil it all. Thought stating that swapping roles made it obvious is kind of a good hint without giving too much away. ;).

I think that riddle in Level 8 was great. Hard to understand. IT is one of the rare riddles that is not too obvious, which made it even harder since you'd expect to be actively lead to the solution like usual :D
