Serial Number???

Does anyone know where to find your serial number to access Download Staition??

you don't get one from what I understand someone correct me if I'm wrong. You will get a first class ticket for 6 months and then when that runs out you will have ot pay a subscription. I surley hope I'm mistaken.

When the game hits "release" status, thats when they will give you your FirstClassTicket. As far as accessing download station everybody can now , just not as fast as with FCT. Its the content manager that you use.
Nobody gets a serial number, it uses your login name and password in the launcher to verify.

how do you get your serial number? I cant find it anywhere and you need to enter it to use multiplayer

You just need to login to myTrainz from the launcher settings.

I have. I can download content. I have an old TRS2006 accout. I just cant find the serial number for T:ANE

You have to login to myTrainz from the launcher and join multiplayer.

I have logged in. the multiplayer icon dose not appear for me. it simply isn't there. I have access to the chat but not multiplayer

This new version including direct download and steam versions no longer use serial numbers, they use your login ID instead. Just downloaded 1.2 direct from my account, installed and runs great. No longer need the steam version to run.

So steam users have purchased TANE which marks your account for access then it does not care which version you run as you have already purchased it from whatever source. Belongs your ID is valid and you have purchased it all works great.

Must say version 1.2 is a million times bettter than steams 1.1

What if your Mytrainz login is different to your Steam login? I have a much older MyTrainz login that I want to use on the Trainz forums (etc) but I only bought the game via Steam.

What if your Mytrainz login is different to your Steam login? I have a much older MyTrainz login that I want to use on the Trainz forums (etc) but I only bought the game via Steam.

I also have an old trainz login that is nothing like my steam ID and works. If your steam version trainz login lets you login to trainz without steam running, be easy to check as for when you check your trainz account if will show if you have access to 1.2, its all I did and it was there so I downloaded it and ran. I think you just need to put in your old trainz login after running steams version so that steam updates its record? or maybe it send your details onwards, no idea.

i just logged in qwith my trainz account sucessfully getting everything multiplayer etc dls acess as well as tane ce in my trainz profile

They haven't updated it on Steam yet, but to get 1.2 download it here https://www.auran.com/planetauran/help.htm

I've got the game on Steam, and checked it, NO SERIAL NEEDED. When you start the game go into the "Trainz Settings" and on the "Internet" tab just enter your MyTrainz account name and password. If you wanna check it, just play with the game. It will start to download the DLCs, and after a while you will see in MyTrainz's "Download Tickets" page that you have a Download Station Access Ticket for T:ANE without using any serial on the site. I had Trainz 12 only on that page, but now I see T:ANE too and never entered or saw any serial number. I think the DRM is the Steam itself and this is why you don't need any serial numbers.
