how do i fix unknown assets?

The short answer is that you need to find them. They are unknown because they are not on the DLS. You can try a web search on the KUID of the unknown asset. You can post to the Auran Forums with the the unknown asset KUIDs. You can also try https://www.trainzkuidindex.com/ Privately run site that requires registration. Donations are welcome, though not required, since he runs the site out of his own pocket and maintains the database in his own time.

i created a account and i sent the verification number to my email and when i tried to tipe it in to create my account but to tipe in the coad i had to create a account

This is not a version-specific issue, it's a user created content issue. Changing versions won't help.
If you can't get trainzkuidindex to work, just search for the KUID on Google instead. That usually helps since KUIDs are generally mentioned on the download page for an asset.

Yeah, there's some assets on the DLS that have dependencies that are no longer available. A lot of stuff requires a few assets from JointedRail that you have to ask for, especially some of the Alco RS3s and F7s, and if you do RWS/TTTE stuff you basically can't get any of WildNorwester's assets anymore because he closed his website.

why the hell would i pay to get a unknown asset? i cant find it searching online wont work i posted it to auran forms 57 days and nothing and i have to get a subscription to get a single asset for one of my models
