Trainz keeps Freezing.

After i select a route, and hop into Surveyor, after a few mins my game freezes up. Only the screen, however. I've done tests and the game still plays but the screen locks up. If anyone can help i'd be very grateful. Thanks. P.S. Im using the Disk Copy, not the Steam version, updated to SP3 as well.

Try these suggestions:
1. Do a manual database repair (do not click on "start trainz" prior to this) and let the dbr complete.
2. Clear the contents from within Tane's "internet" cache folder. Just do a pc "search" if you are not sure where this folder is installed. Double check that the does belong to trainz when found.
3. Alter performance settings in Launcher > Trainz settings > Performance
4. Alter the settings in the Main Window > settings (top left) > Video settings.
5. Have you recently installed and using this content in surveyor and the freezing has been happening since?
6. The more content added in surveyor the more game processing is required. You may need to alter your settings to compensate.

This may or may not help, but is worth a try.
