How is the route editor?
I've been the owner of Trainz for Mac for a while now and my favorite thing to do is to create routes. How is the route creator on TANE? I read somewhere that they took away features on it.

I don't know what info you read up on, but nothing is lacking from it, same controls and features since release and same as in Trains 2012.

Agree with LordBT

Surveyor is great and the tools easy to use. You will have a lot of fun with it!

One more question: I read in the comments you have to pay for lots of content. I don't care about paying for maps, but do you have to pay for more trains? Are there more or less trains included in the game compaired to Trainz 2012?

In honesty, there are a few less, but if you go to Jointed Rail they have tons of high quality freeware content that works in TANE.

Don't forget the download station has a lot of new good stuff for free, unless you add the cost of a first class ticket to download faster and no cap.

The fct is very cheap https://store.trainzportal.com/ . The one year is NZ$38.99 (converted) which is just over $3.00 a month and I can download as much as my internet data allowance will allow (which is unlimited). Can't moan about that! :)
