Third Party:
1.Third party content you download off 3rd party sites does not use the Content Manager.
2. It get's downloaded normally.
3.You go to the download location on your pc and manually drag the file ( .cdp) into a window of the Content Manager, which will then automatically install it.
Content Manager:
1.The Content Manager is on the Trainz Launcher > Manage Content
2.This can be used to download the free content from N3V's/Auran's Download Station
3. You need to register at MyTrainz with the same username and password that you have put in Launcher > Ttainz Settings > Internet.
https://www.auran.com/planetauran/register.php
4. When Tane is launched it will then verify the username and password with Auran's server
5. Start the "Manage Content" utility.
6. Change the heading "Installed" (next to "Filter") to "Download Station" by clicking on the small down arrow.
7. A list of headings will show up
It may all seem a little bit daunting to start off, but just have a play around with the CM utility.
Right clicking on content will also show lot's of other options.
There is a pdf manual for trainz on the Launcher > File > View pdf Manual
So, if I'm understanding this correctly:
> Download files in to the PC's Downloads folder.
> Open Tane Content Manager window from the little TANE window which offers buttons for various things you might want to do, play game, et cetera.
> Take mouse and drag files from PC's Downloads folder to the content manager window.
And ... hmm, a new little window says, "Done. 0 errors and 5 warnings."
Okay, now what?
EDIT: I still don't know what the warnings are about the the locomotive and cabooses are in there and they work.
