Run: syscfg.exe

Save and launch from there, or Steam.

I changed it but wont work only works if i use a verry low resolution and that kinda sucks.

I used it fine. Verify game files and try again.

You can try increasing the resolution one at a time. It's time consuming, but once you find it, you'll be happy.

I can run the game at 1080px32bit colour

DID YOU TRY 1920X1080p I am using a 32" and it looks good at 80Hz per frame seconds on Windows 8.1 I went into the control panel and the one in Windows onder devices.

Its 1920x1080 yes after you change in config but the screen is still stretched. The fix that GUCFan posted is what you need if you want real widescreen 16:9. So do the config first then download the.exe file and replace looks better

I can not find a way to change the resolution. there is no choices for this in any menu?

Theres a config file in C\Steam\steamapps\common\Ford Racing 3\CONFIG
The first comment explained it also.
start that and choose your resoltion____x32.
