Anime to promote the game similar to Cyberpunk incoming.

It's about Suicide Squad in a Dragon Quest video game world I think.

The upcoming anime series is Suicide Squad ISEKAI. It doesn't have any connection to the game. Captain Boomerang isn't even part of the team.
