I'm a tweaker and we've been experimenting with several settings to attempt to make the situation better.
On Linux, it's the same issue, the game stutters.
Just wait for a patch.
Forgot to mention that an extremely small amount of people managed to fix stutters, but they don't want to tell how they did that apparently?
yes I was already thinking about waiting for a patch but I was hoping to find a solution.
I don't understand why people waste their time writing "your PC sucks".
Turn off Ray Tracing, if you have it on. Its broken at the moment and causes really bad FPS drops.
And it does not much matter what hardware you have. Even on high end 12900k and 4090 stuttering and FPS drops were occuring and without raytracing activated.
So we need an patch with massive optimization.
Could also do with some geometry culling. A good example of this is where the game only renders the world that is in view of the perspective, but culls out anything outside of the range of site.
I can see optimizations as being something going forward in future patches most likely.
