Cheapest way to get Deathstroke? DLC?
LOL okkk , so i'll be honest, haven't played this game much. Heard Death Stroke is a character - dope! Is he attached to a Season Pass? So would I have to get the current season pass to get him? I know they're ending support soon, did I miss my chance end of Jan. ?

Any info would be great, thanks all

All characters are free unless you want to pay to skip the grind. Battle passes are just to unlock ugly cosmetics and lame taunts. The game is still going to run online for a while, they're just not adding new content.

Then, how do you "pay to skip the grind"?
By buying the deluxe edition upgrade? That's the only other thing available to buy, aside of the main game, in the Steam store. I saw a Youtube comment claiming that you can buy Deathstroke for 10$, but surely they must have been referring to the console version, no?

I'm certainly not ever going to play the game twice. Either I can find a way to start (and maybe finish) the game with Deathstroke, or I'll just put the game on hold indefinitely.

In-game store direct to WB's pockets. $10 for 1000 luthor coins for EACH character or do the post-campaign grind.

Yeah, thanks!
I had started the game, but the in-game store wasn't visible/available yet. Had to play to the point where they receive the traversal gadgets.

Sadly, I still can't switch to Deathstroke, for some reason. Maybe I'll have to progress a little further still?

I saw a Reddit post that it *is* possible to play DLC characters in the campaign and I saw a video of The Joker dying to the Justice League bosses. They however do not appear in cutscenes and I assume they don't have chatter that reflects the campaign's state based on your progress. I don't know when it allows you to change characters, try quitting your session from the squad screen and seeing if you have the swap character button available on the squad screen.

Thanks for pointing out the potential narrative drawbacks!
It's fine. There's nothing for me to like in the story anyway. I'm just hoping for some at least mediocre gameplay entertainment.

Did the character change thing work? Before loading into the game when you first boot it, or after quitting to the game lobby screen, you can swap out your four bot players for any of the unlocked DLC characters. Then once you're in the game you can swap to them to take control.
