Visuals are amazing. Voice acting is great and traveling is really fun.
I think it's closest relative that I've played and enjoyed is Sunset overdrive and Borderlands the pre-sequel gameplay wise.
Story will be very hit or miss. But if you kinda just want something to do while listening to music or a podcast or something then it's probably fine
Even once you beat the game and try end game, even with level 30 characters, notorious or infamous gear in every slot, there are really only a couple missions that are doable without getting 1 or 2 shotted even on the easiest difficulty. Recently I was doing a mission that was considered 'challenging odds' where I had my shields extended to double (about 3500 shields) with overshield of almost the same amount I got 1 shotted by a basic enemy.
Gear does not scale, so if you found a legendary item at level 5, except for the mods on it, its going to be the same thing at level 30 (with some very slight differences without ruining anything for you), another poor design choice for any game that has levels or scaling enemies.
Im not disappointed I spent the $5 on it, however its unlikely I will play the game much if at all now that the campaign is over.
No, it's not as bad as people claim. I'm getting my moneys worth and the production value is pretty great.
But yes, it's flawed. Repetitive, and doesn't really work as a GaaS. You'll beat it and maybe the battle pass, no reason to go back after that.
Once you get to endgame, I feel you might change your tune. I did enjoy the campaign, dont feel guilty about that. The Suicide Squad had tons of potential in theory, its just unfortunate that this is how it panned out, as the novelty of the game will wear off fast once you hit a certain point.
I already wasted 5 on this.
I don't think your this poor to not afford 5 bucks, since you have a PC and Internet connection.
