help me with superman please!

Can someone please help me defeat superman? i have tried so many times to beat him,but i just can't.Maybe it's just me not being good enough but it seems hard. I am beyond frustrated with it.

I'd say with that fight, just take your time. You don't need to try counter/hit him at every opening. Sure the fight takes longer but you will out last him. Focus on shooting the ice since that drops shields/ammo.

If you can't stay alive single player, a co-op player can't save you either. Your AI companions will do a better job soaking damage than another player will, although, another player can at least help do damage/keep the gold damage bar up.

Try out different guns too. Going by DPS alone is a trap. What matters more is how the gun fires. Also use a character like Deadshot to take advantage of openings with his hover aiming to get out of the way of the thunderclap waves and get some shots in.

just curious, incase I have any weapon suggestions like Catsim suggests. Which character is your primary and which guns ( smg/sniper rifle/machinegun etc. ) do you like to play with the most?

Struggled to beat him at first as well. What you need to aknowledge is how to evade his most powerful attacks. One is his skydive, when a massive explosion wave covers area around. You need to get away as far as possible. It's not that hard actually, the arena is quite vast. That was a gamechanger for me, because this attack easily kills you every time it occurs.
As for the character choice I would recommend Cpt. Boomerang or Deadshot, or whatever character you personally feel confident with being agile and fast.
Speaking of damage I believe all you need to do is to perform counterattacks from time to time, there's passive damage coming from your mates so focus on evading strikes and surviving.

For this fight in particular you're probably going to want a semi-auto/burst fire sniper or pistol. That way you can lay on the hurt while Supes zooms around the arena. Maybe check out the LuthorCorp guns and get a Luthor shield for the 30% bonus if you don't have anything better.
