Considering the game is $70 is the battlepass ingame at least free.
Why the heck is there a battlepass in an offline game.

Nope, not free, and it's a remnant of when the game was supposed to be even MORE live service-y I think. If you missed the sale where it was $5 then don't even bother with the game. The battle pass is all cosmetic junk. If you get the deluxe edition you get a ticket to start one of the battle passes and once you finish it you get 1000 tokens which you can spend on another pass, and you can repeat the process until all passes are done.

But you've got to be a special kind of twisted to want to grind THIS game THAT much. I got it for $5 and it's not too bad. Honestly if the game launched at $40 it wouldn't have gotten as much hate because the campaign is short as hell and most of the content is mindless grinding. Definitely not worth AAA price as well as the extra to start the battle passes.

Plus if you've got a PS5 you can just get it for PS+ this month.

It's kinda insulting to new players for them to charge $70 when it was apparently going for $5 to everyone.

In a way its more insulting that people who spent 120 to 70 dollars got sold a 5 dollar game and they don't even have the decency to keep it that cheap

More like delusional to think anyone who was still holding out until December didn't get it at $5 and would be willing to pay full price since they missed the sale. At this point you'd think they'd at least have it down around $20 and pray people buy luthor coins. I mean that's why they're letting Playstation give it away on PS+, try to make a few microtransactions while they can.

can we use battle pass in offline mode? or is there any way to update our online profile from offline one?

No battle passes offline and you can only transfer progress Online to Offline, not Offline to Online. Essentially offline is a way for people to play the game if they REALLY want to play during server outages and don't care about wasted progress, and when they eventually shut down the servers for real which WB says they don't plan to yet.

You can still get this game for $5 if you want it at some re-seller sites such as CDkeys.

I always use CDkeys to buy steam games as they buy it during a steam discount and you don't have to feel the FOMO of having the buy the game ASAP.

https://www.cdkeys.com/#q=suicide

but even at £2, I still would not buy this game.

This POS was originally meant to be a LIVE SERVICE game.

but when they saw Anthem and Marvel's Avengers flop they changed the model.

but you can still see some element of LIVE SERVICE in this game such as the useless battle pass and the repetitive game play/missions.
