It takes a couple hours to unlock a character, because you can't access the mission until the episode level is level 30; you increase the episode level by doing the missions with orange arrows on them, or the 'killing time' mission.
The easiest way to get episode level 30 is to do killing time twice to about mastery 60 (this might be difficult if you don't have at least one max level character), and then do each of the orange arrow missions once.
From what I understand, this. Not only do the Missions not show, but you cannot even BUY the Character until you do.
Odd, your the first person to say you can Skip the Campaign and just go to Season Content. Every other Person has told me you HAVE to Finish it. Can anyone else Confirm this?
You need to finish the campaign to unlock all the gadgets/abilities to even fight the encounters in the seasonal content. Special enemies that require specific gear which only comes from finishing parts of the campaign otherwise when you run into them you can't do anything to them. Even the prompt when selecting seasonal will tell you it's recommended to finish the story before attempting.
Okay, so while you technically can do so you would be seriously handicapped doing so. Thanks for the Reply. I wonder if you can get far enough to Pay to Unlock Characters
