People need to stop comparing this to Arkham Games

This game does not play in Arkham. It is not a Batman Game. It is not even the same Game Genre.

This is a looter shooter playing in Metropolis, where Batman plays a little side role. Nobody cares if this is "not like the Arkham Games". It never claimed to be one. It's a different game and really nice at what it is.

Being "in canon" is totally different from "being the same game in a series of games". This came plays in the same universe. So what? Warcraft and World of Warcraft also play in the same lore universe. Yet they are totally different games

Its me, my third account like you said yesterday or 4th i dont even know anymore... Let me explain to you why your post is completely WRONG. This game was advertised as same universe same story game and from the same developers we fans do expect the game to be just as good and even better than asylum, city and knight but it turned out to be really bad, and its not only the woke stuff that is bad, the actual gameplay is very boring, enemy variety is really lacking, the weapon loot is really underwhelming, the story is really high and low at times with batman getting killed off in a very disrespectful way, and to add to that the music in this game is just bland and repetitive, gone are the majestic score of arkham games that made you feel like you are saving the world and now the same theme plays every time you get into combat with the purple human aliens and you do get into combat with them every 10 seconds you traverse through the map and its always the same. Also traversal is not as fun as it was advertised. And the bossfights... flash and green lantern fights are good but others are just bad, batman bossfight could of been so much more but we got a very scripted predator scenario and a scarecrow like big monster bat encounter, super man fight had to be very majestic but turned out to be bad, and the worst of all the brainiac boss fight is a reused boss fight he turns into flash and has the same mechanics, how lazy is that ???
If you think that only people who dont like gay and trans stuff dislike this game you are wrong because the actual game sucks, i would reccomend watching angry joe review of this game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eo72Er3rj8g&t=1s

I don't recommend basing your mentality of games off of youtubers especially Joe. All they want to do is generate as much money as possible with shock value reactions. The game has its issues but this sheep mentality is not the answer. Dude literally has a G fuel link as the first thing in the description.

I would agree, if this game didn't market itself as a continuation of the Arkhamverse.

Expecting the gameplay to be similar is foolish, but any complaints people have about lore breaks is 100% valid.

Sure, but that's the marketing team of the publisher. Really doesn't make it a bad game. I understand the disappointment, but now we know that it is not that, we still got a great game. especially for 3-5€

You got a great game for 3 dollars, this was intitally sold for between 120-70 dollars. You can't forget that. Especially since day one bugs are still present, it still breaks the lore of the games that proceed it, and it still has no offline mode. Which makes it unplayable for me at least since my Internet is much too spotty to run basically any online game.

It does kinda make a bad game when it doesn't seem to hold its players for more than a few weeks, and disrespected the main franchise that built their studios lore.

It should have been an elseworld game, and definitely not full price for an always online hero shooter with only 4 choices at launch (with virtually no real difference in gameplay besides how they get from a to b). With an in game store for mircotransactions and skipping the grind for new characters.

If a game gives you the choice to pay money to make it less repeative I don't think it deserves any acolytes

Na, i can absolutely forget that, since i am not dumb enough to buy a game at launch. I never pay more than $3-15 for a game AND get the best, fixed version with all DLC. If suckers buy into marketing and spend $120 on a video game, that is on them. Especially since we all know that almost all games release with bugs and a lot of marketing today is just make believe. I play the games when they are ripe to played. It's called playing smarter, instead of paying harder

Agreed. I actually watched a lot of the marketing for this game but was never under the impression that it was an Arkham type game. I only learned that it was in the same universe after the fact.

If anything sucks about the whole 'canon' thing. It's the way Batman they brought back Batman. Some how Batman's returned! Just like Palpatine.

Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you hard on this one. Sure, hindsight is 20/20 but I honestly feel it's okay to buy a game at launch. Hell, it's even okay to preorder (yeah I said it!) a game if it's one you truly believe you'll enjoy. I preordered both BM: Wukong and Starfield and I don't regret it one but.

That said, I would be raging if I had bought Suicide Squad at launch considering how bad the game was received.
