Don't play without an SSD.
Hold off from buying if you still use HDDs.

why are you still on hdd?

Yep but you can bruteforce it if you have powerful enough hardware.
So its not big issue in that case.
But if you have mid-range PC and lower dont even think about using HDD for this.

I've had this laptop for like 5 years, I bought the game out of curiosity and thought perhaps it *may* function. It does somewhat during gameplay, just not when there are rapid scene transitions e.g. Green Lantern.

Sorry if I'm stupid, you'll have to forgive me.

imagine having an HDD when a 500gb ssd costs about 20-30 dollars or euros. Any person on earth can make 30 bucks in 1 day doing some easy job like helping lifting furniture for a few hours or something. hdd is dinosaur age technology.

Sorry, this is the first game that's given me trouble on a HDD. My PayPal is open if you'd like to donate, just ask :Thunder_Girl_3:

It shouldn't affect performance just load times , if it does it's just poorly optimised since better looking games run fine on HDD

I closed the game just to start this thread, because Green Lantern dragging us across Metropolis was a slideshow.

Did you look at the SIZE of the game? 4 to 5 games in 2024 take up half a TB of space. From what I recall, there are maybe 3 slots max on the motherboards for M.2, not to mention the SATA ssds. I've got my drives almost filled to the brim due to the size of some of these games.
When I get done with them, I slot them over to the HDDs and forget it.

In fairness to him, laptops are harder to modify/update than PC's
