Fear level issue

Hit fear level 40 and cant progress as ALL levels after that have a padlock sign?

Is it a bug?
is it intentional?

i cant find ANY info about this anywhere

from what i found that work for me. i have to do other mission of the highest level in order to progress. you cant do the same mission over and over. you need to do the other and increase the level for those mission.

I'm having this same problem. After rescuing joker I went from fear levle 35 to a whopping 79! From just beating braniac. I thought it was a bug to make that many levels but now I can't progress past 79. Mine also has a padlock symbol for lvl 80. I'm officially stuck.

Apparently what I'm reading is you have to keep doing higher masteries. So, for my experience, I attained mastery 19 in one of the incursions before hitting 35 and rescuing joker. I'm assuming that is why my xp shot up so much after completing braniac. I went from 35 to 79. So it must have taken into consideration all those mastery levels and given me xp. Now I'm in "end game" and I guess you're supposed to just keep doing higher masteries or not progress at all, which is bad game design imo. What happens when you join a random group and they decide to do lower difficulities?

That is too much of an increase. When I completed it, I went from Fear Level 35 to Fear Level 40.

You don't even unlock Mastery Levels until you reach Fear Level 35 and rescue Joker. Up until then you're only able to do Incursions at up to Sweating Bullets difficulty solo. So unless you were in a group doing Incursions with others before you had even unlocked Mastery Levels yourself, that isn't possible.

The Squad leader is the only one who can lock in the Mastery Level for the selected Incursion. The others can just merely make a suggestion as to what difficulty. I have a friend who didn't even have the Mastery Levels unlocked but with me in the party as leader, he could do the Incursions on my highest Mastery Levels.

Thats odd then because I was able to do mastery with other randoms and I was the group leader. Got all the way up to 19.

But yes, making 34 levels after beating Braniac is too much I thought so it must be a bug and now I'm stuck at 79.

I'll fiddle with the system after work today and see what happens. My battle pass is stuck too , like for many others. My fear level being capped is super frustrating right now.
