I looked at steam charts, the game has barely 200 player.

It still saddens me.
The whole AAA-industry is chasing the live-service dream, this year was off to a great start:
Suicide Squad, Skull and Bones (technically AAAA, but okay) and Foamstars were all huge flops.

Now the layoffs are in full motion, live-service projects got scrapped, hopefully the industry returns to former AAA-glory.

Actually it wasn't a live service originally so it may have had a chance at being just another Arkham game. Then they found out video game players have infinite money and they coveted that money.

I hope you're right, I also hope mission design and gameplay is totally different.
I don't think people want to see WW with guns...
I can have a bit of hope for WW because of Monolith, but hopefully WB doesn't ruin it.
