i can't be the only one with multiplayer issues

so this game has no players anymore we know that but most players me and my buddy included quit this game because both of us got the game to play together and not be locked into single player (both of us are on different platforms and have the same issue). and from the discord it proves over 80% of people have it and yet nobody talks about it, mentions it in video's, even the patch notes never mention the unable to play multiplayer issue. i am certain this is the MAIN reason the amount of players compared to people who own the game is so bad. back in early access i was able to play online just fine but ever since that time was gone i couldn't (thats also why early access had more players than post launch does and those people paid 30 euros extra). there is no fix and there will be no fix Warner Brothers just has a bot that repeats the same thing in every thread and is unhelpfull in every way WHERE IS THE ACTUAL HELP, WHERE IS THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, WHERE IS EVEN THE COMPENSATION?

Yea there's quite some people reporting multiplayer issues lately. RS announced a patch for march 26th, hope this one fixes a majority of the current problems 🙄

You can play solo or invite your friends through Steam to play together. When I try to use matchmaking it connects to the host but then returns a bandwidth error.

What I don't understand is I have it set to Private Session and occasionally a random uninvited person manages to join my game. Why does the matchmaking work for them?

Matchmaking with friends doesn't seem to work either. I'd been playing this multiplayer with a friend up until about a week ago, when it just stopped working. I've submitted multiple bug reports and as near as I can tell, there's no word from Rocksteady or Warner Bros. on the outages or whether they're being addressed. : (

I am still able to play with my two friends through Steam invites. I just cannot get matchmaking to work outside of my friends.

The reason Season One was delayed until March 28th is because they spent the extra time addressing these issues. The patch goes live March 26th.

Multiplayer right now is a complete mess. I cant´ play with a friend becasue each time he connects to a game server he gets an infinite load screen. When i´m playing with other random people, works fine at first, nut then the game desyncronizes and i suddenly can´t do any damage to enemies, or they don´t even attack or react to me.

Yeah, i want to play, but this issues make it impossible.

Yeah, my problem is similarly weird and confounding. I can't get myself onto an "open" server for love nor money. I select Open to Friends or Open to Public, and I inevitably hang at "just a sec". So I can't even test whether I can invite people.

But just now, I tested with a friend who hasn't been playing and he was able to jump into an Open to Friends server, invite me via Steam, and we had no issues. But for whatever reason, this doesn't work when I try to do it, and I'm unable to connect with a separate friend. There's some definite backend bullshittery going on, but it's also seems weirdly specific to me.

And this is all a new development after the last update. WTF, Rocksteady and Warner Bros? I don't even know where I'm supposed to get updates since I'm not on Twitter and I don't use Discord. All I see are their blithely cheerful messages of the day from the main screen, mostly to hawk the upcoming DLC!

Mine is when ever I am using WiFI i cant connect to public. But if i use a cord which makes my download speed much slower it works and I can connect

i played with friends and we would have a hard time connecting or even staying connected. would d/c right before or during cut scenes which was funny but still kinda annoying. MM has never worked for me though.

Honestly it's ridiculous. I think i will finish the achievement and never play the game ever again. season 1 is just gonna be the same bs anyway.

Between the framedrops (which DLSS doesn't fix) , the superman cutscene that can soft lock you , the matchmaking not working and nerfing xp grind (when the game is stale already)

I have not been able to connect to multiplayer servers at all since the second patch. Now there might be a fix after months of "investigating issues some players are having"?

Sorry, Dragon's Dogma 2 is a better single player game than this one.

True but you know what i meant. the matchmaking was finding peoples i just can't play.
