why are people so surprised by the justice league deaths?

seen a lot of people complaining that they're disrespectful and that it's a bad thing, but what would you have expected from a game literally titled "kill the justice league"? the characters we are playing as do not respect them, they are not going to treat them with dignity, you should not be surprised by this. i agree that the writing in this game is really, really bad, but this complaint specifically always confused me. even in a game with good writing, it'd be perfectly in-character and expected for these characters to behave this way about the deaths of their literal rivals. if this seriously bothers you this much, why would you even want to play a game about killing them?

Don't pretend you know the characters that are in the game.
Don't even dare saying it's "in-character" for them to behave like that.
You know nothing about Flash and Captain Boomerang's rivality.
You know absolutely nothing about Harley and Batman relationship.
All the writers did was to give control to Sweetbabyinc who just applied their ideological filth.

This game is just a middle-finger to all the fans.
They now know how Star Wars, Doctor Who or any other big franchises fans felt like when these ***** of wokes ruined them.

Shouldn't be really obvious by now that the problem is not their deaths, but the way it has been done and the poor taste treatment those characters have received from a story/writing point of view? I mean the MALE characters obviously, because Wonder Woman of course does get a dignified dead, in fact the SS can't even manage to touch her from what I've seen, and they even feel sad for her death.

Just compare this Batman death from Gotham Knights to the garbage they've done in this game:

Compare that to Batman (and I mean Arkhamverse Batman because this game is supposed to take place in the same universe) getting beaten and mocked by a bunch of C-tier villains when he has dealt with much more dangerous foes in the past, lectured and executed by F-ing Harley Quinn of all people... Yes, Batman, dying tied to a bench and lectured by a F-ing psycho for the emotional damage he caused to the people around him.

And I'm only talking about Batman because it's the character I and probably most people are more familiar with, but of course what they did with Flash and Green Lantern isn't much better.

Their deaths were trivialized by the way that they were disrespected while the only female superhero was given an honorable death.

Had they disrespected Wonder Woman in the same tone that they disrespected all of the male superheroes then people would have accepted it as the bad guys being bad.

The fact that she was the only one that was spared a disrespectful death just reeks of sexism and that is why people are upset.

From what I've heard, they're not mad because the justice league is killed off, it's how they were killed off/handled. The game is called Suicide Squad kills the justice league, not suicide Squad pisses on the justice league.

The game literally says at the end they fully intend for you to kill all 13 brainiacs and travel the DC multiverse to kill him. It's basically the entire plot of DC online, except the heroes are all "Dead". Pick up a comic for 10 seconds and see kryptonian comas, lazurus' pits etc. Death means nothing in comics.

not to mention the gigantic THANK YOU KEVIN at the end of the game and the 3 minutes of lois lane talking up batman and how much he means to the world.

You can still thank someone for voicing lines for your terrible writing. Doesn't mean the game is good. Also Lois Lane which never feature in any of the games gets to say a farewell to Batman?

Death may mean nothing in comics but in games they do. People have to wait months to years before a game is out.

Injustice and Injustice 2 had larger sales and were better received. Even Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe was better received and all three had the killing of heroes/villians in them.

Why does this game get doo-doo on?

Cause it is crap.

When a developer shovels their poop on the market, don't expect it to not be flung right back in their face by potential consumers.
