WB services connection failure?

Is this a ongoing issue or is there a solution?

No solution. Its been an issue since BEFORE the game was officially released. If anything it has gotten WAY worse since it's release. I was able to play fine before the official release but now the servers constantly go down. I am stuck on "CONNECTING TO THE WB SERVERS" all the time.

They do not seem to care about us at all. furthermore, they have not delivered the IN-GAME currency to some players that pre-ordered the game and experienced the early server issues. Some people, including me, have not received their CLASSIC outfit packs either and WB tweeted about this one.

I would avoid the game for a bit, until they fix their servers. I managed to reach end-game at least.

Yeh, it keeps happening even in private sessions. I love always online games, please give us more of these, i get so excited when everything freezes and i get booted back into the main menu while in the middle of a mission. Thank you WB, you sure know what your player base wants.

Always online live service you get alot of down for maintenance, updates, patch, Server issues etc.

I feel this so much. I can't even enjoy my "POST campaign" content due to constantly being booted out of my own game AND when I am in the middle of a mission I loose all my XP and progress being forced to restart the mission.... again..

Unfortunately if you crossed that Steam play cap, there won't be refunds. On consoles they flat out warn that digital purchases are final (except in extreme rare cases.) That is the nature of live services, if the player base isn't there - there is no reason to continue supporting a title for a small population. It isn't cost effective. We can only hope enough mainstream gamers (and not those that live on Youtube, in forums or follow "influencers") purchase the game. Remarkably, Arkham Knights did exceptionally well despite the appearance of everyone hating it online and among influencers. It exceeded it's sales goals for the investment they made in it, so from a business perspective it was a success. I am hoping the same thing happens with Suicide Squad - that enough of the mainstream continue to play it so it warrants WB pumping out the 13 seasons of content. If we get even 3 of those seasons, I'll be happy.

its a known issue and there is no solution at this point. you COULD unlink your WB and steam accounts, but youll lose all progress and premium skins etc..

really, REALLY sucks! I havent been able to play for 3 days straight now and helldivers 2 is coming tomorrow

haha you gotta love an always online game that you can't play without an internet connection and a server that actually works.

What do you think will happen to your $70 game when WB finally pulls the plug and shuts down the servers ??

I can't even blame them..
But I am having loads of fun again with it. Especially after playing Helldivers 2. It's a fun game, but SS is so much more fun..
