You need 1 pair DDR RAM sticks, installed in correct slots to gain good performance.
1 pair means, two identical RAM sticks.
Running with 1 stick only, you get performance lost.
*I don't know your RAM stick spec,
it is better purchade 2 x 16GB packet than find another missing stick same type.
If you purchade now second 16GB stick, worst case scenario is, you get bad timings and blue screen of death or PC wont start.
Your gpu is kindy old.
If you gonna get another ram stick,
Like I mention before, I recommend buy 2 x 16GB (or 2 x 8GB) packed.
Or you get trouble when try find one, same type ram stick like what you have already, and it then not work.
Do not install them next to each other unless you are installing memory in all 4 slots.
