Is the game good or not?

I'm a big fan of the arkham games and I was interested in trying suicide squad. But in the past weeks I've only heard bad things about it but when i go on steam, Mostly good reviews.

So if you actually played the game, how is it?

edit: i'll take the risk of trying it myself and will refund it if necessary

its not even close to arkham, so most likely you will hate it but its a fun shooter looter (with a bad story and quite bad performance)

I think the reviews here are biased, both positive and negative.

Positive because people who bought have a need to justify it.

Negative because people who say they don't like it haven't even bought it.

So, to make up your mind, look at professional reviews. Search in YouTube and at least look at 2 or 3 video reviews, or check Metacritic, before your make up your mind.

Don't be so quick to judge. He may have played all three Arkham in Epic. They were free there.

Kittan this game is not as bad as they want us to see it. This game is for me a 7.8. The only thing that i dont really like is the price, the rest is good. Without talking that in March starts the Season 1, that comes with New Boss Battles, new character, more story and those thing, totally free (i think u can purchase ingame for more rewards, but all of that mentioned its free). The game is good, dont expect the new Batman Arkham Diamond, but its a really good game with some references that u may like and noticed if u have played the old ones.

It’s a looter shooter with pretty fun if not cookie cutter mechanics. Has some graphical issues but can run 60fps pretty steady with dlss. I think it’s pretty fun but I can understand if some people don’t like how it gets samey. I find cpt boomerangs gameplay loop pretty fun, especially his traversal. Story is funny if you pay attention. 5-7/10 for general audiences. 8/10 from me and could increase if the game had a future and that future is handled well through updates. It could go either way in the that respect. if you don’t like it you can always refund.

Its pretty good BUT the price is a lil to high. i recommend it at 40-50€ 70 is too much for any game if you ask me. wait for a sale and then get it

I played all 4 Arkham games on the PS, before i moved to PC.

Even played that handheld Blackgate game (it sucked)

Ive been seeing a streamer i follow play all the way through the game, its terrible, the writing is awful, the combat is clunky, the characters play basically the same, the mission design is poor and lacking, theres not much enemy variety, the UI clutter is among the worst ive seen in a while, the bosses SUCKED, you straight up gotta farm currency to fight the final boss PER ATTEMPT.

I saw more than enough to confirm this game aint worth at all, besides with the poor numbers it seems to be making, the live service will likely dont even last, like the Avengers game, and i think this game is doing worse than that one.
