Delayed audio and lots of freezing?

Even tried cranking the settings to be as low as possible. If I move too much or too far the game starts freezing a lot to load stuff and starts muting up the audio. Ik my PC isn't great, but it def should've been able to run a game like this, what's going on?

Joined the discord for info and apparently it's due to a CPU bottleneck? Hope they fix it soon, it's causing issues for a lot of people

Sounds like a CPU issue. Whether that's your specific CPU, a weird hardware configuration, your settings are too high or RNJesus just hates you is up in the air. But those are CPU bottleneck symptoms.

Nono, I meant that it's an overall issue, not just with my machine. Other users are experiencing the same issue right now on their discord server. Everyone's waiting for a fix.

I have above recommended specs and have run into the freezing (more stuttering) once or twice, both times to load in a lot of assets at once.

It's likely an optimization issue and less a bottleneck (in my instance anyway).

What you describe sounds like you need a revolution jump in GPU power.

Im also above recommended specs and have been running into my game freezing in all of my sessions, making me close the game or restart my pc, also doesnt matter what settings i change fps stays just as bad, i saw in discord that a lot of people where having issues too so we might just have to wait for the devs to address these issues

Well this early on I imagine there probably are hardware and compatibility issues which will hopefully be patched later..........sit tight man

Yeah idk what to do about it. Sometimes cutscenes play over and over again and the sound delays, even music won’t appear

It's still there, I hoped I could play it in any way but the lack of sound and cutscenes lagging make it impossible to enjoy

It's probably not going to be at this stage..maybe once offline is introduced mods can happen but probably not even then
