Went insane after Mr. J's demise in the Arkham series. Right now she is locked away in a mental institution going coco for cocopoofs and dreaming up the whole 'Suicide Squad' through her grief and need for revenge against those evil heroes who took her Mr. J away from her.

This is the only explanation because some third-rate villains would never stand any chance against the heroes and heroines even if they banded together.

This is just my take and a more 'lore accurate' viewpoint than whatever story this looter shooter is making it out to be. You can easily spot the lore inaccuracy because Martian Manhunter would never allow the brainwashing to happen in the first place and even if it did happen Green Lantern wouldn't been able to use his powers because the ring would of stop him and even theeeen, the Shark wouldn't been able to use the ring's powers either.

Absolutely need to read more comics if you fully believe part of this statement where they wouldn't stand a chance. Ironically though the first paragraph actually does describe how she was pulled into the Suicide Squad at one point. Had her hooked up to a machine and thinking she was a hero for a while to kind of addle her mind and convert her over irrc. It was a wild read and to be completely honest I wouldn't be opposed to this being what actually happened here.

AS for the ring. Yes. It would still work for all his evil deeds. Hal Jordan became a mass murderer in Dark Crisis on Infinite Earth. Still a green lantern and started calling himself Parrallax. The ring doesn't innately stop evil. In which case he was also being controlled by said being "Parrallax"

Normally the ring flies off a dead lantern to find another lantern to take it's place. This doesn't always happen though. There was one lantern that died and the ring rebuilt their body to keep them going. Weird situation, but you're kind of right. The ring shouldn't have worked for shark unless it was picking him to be the next lantern. On the other hand it seemed like the power was driving him crazy which I think was a bit weird.

Anyway, a lot of y'all get on here talking about true to source and don't know much about the source at all. It baffles me

Didn't Hal Jordan make his ring though? Could it really be considered the same as the other rings?

The comics arent consistent at all so does it really matter? one day superman wins one day superman loses all for the sake of a story
