i need a genuine review plz

so im a bit undecided here, on one hand according youtube independent reviewers (or at least according to my algorithm) this game is ♥♥♥♥. repetitive boring annoying characters they destroy batmans legacy (regarding the voice actor) and its full of micro transaction bs, and yet i see its very positive. As such can someone in good faith give me an honest review? (im interested in the game btw but this the first time were im in the middle ground due to what i just explained)

Do you enjoy cooperative looter shooters with great combat and strong loot variety?

Then it's a great game.

Microtransactions are very limited and entirely optional.

You can check out my early review if you want. My opinion has only improved since then.

As a looter shooter? 8.5/10.

Also, I'm 11 hours into it - and I've just completed chapter 3 out of 10.

But I do all the side content - as it adds to your arsenal.

Good guys are bad and bad guys are good.

It's a looter shooter so the likelihood of repetitiveness is high simply by virtue of being a looter shooter.

The game has decent humor and does well to portray the "bad guy" portion of the characters, especially the deranged/unhinged part. I can see where a lot of people would find them annoying but personally I enjoyed the majority of characters in the game.

MTX are cosmetics currently which are two bundles for each character containing outfits/colors

If you like looter shooters this game is easily something you'd want to at least glance at, however if that's not something you're looking for then you should give it a hard pass.

At the end of the day it's a game that's slightly above average.

It's a pretty good game if you like live-service looters like Destiny or Division. Not as good as either of those but good enough to scratch the itch for something new. THAT SAID... do not expect this game to be supported by WB or Rocksteady very far past the first season. There is no financial incentive to keep these guys working full time on this.

wish is why i said he should AT LEAST wait for a sale. its 100 percent not worth the price. specially considering this game will most likly get shut down

Hope you not trolling. Ok lets start. AAA game with good polish graphics and frames<if you know your settings> Story actually first time in years i not skipping. Combat like top notch easy with lot of deepness. many styles. End game actually exits and it LONG.

keep in mind the future dlc was allready revealed and its not looking good. ur gonna get more superheros to kil but there just reskinned superman etc. ur not actually getting a whole new superhero to kill.

I am tired of repeating it, but it's a thing on record: Kevin Conroy, Batman's VA, said multiple times that he loved working on this. So every time someone says it ruins Batman's legacy, remember that Batman himself thought otherwise.

Otheriwse, it's a fun fast looter shooter with parkour/traversal mechanics up the wazoo clearly inspired by Crackdown and Sunset Overdrive. It's fun TO PLAY.

The story may be divisive, but long story short, if you liked the 2021 Suicide Squad movie, you are very likely to enjoy this one.

The gameplay loop is atrocious and I'm not sure how it's going to survive as a looters shooter. If you're idea of a good time is traversing from rooftop to rooftop to kill a small group of enemies over and over then this game is for you. Thankfully Xbox let me refund this garbage.

read the reviews on steam. half the people responding have never played it. your first reply was a guy who cant even use his main account to post anymore.

game is a solid looter shooter based in the arkham universe. campaign can be enjoyed solo but is easy. endgame is best enjoyed with friends or find a group on discord. if that sounds like something you would enjoy buy it. if this is your one game a year and you need something with more meat to play long term i would pass. its not game of the year but its solid.
