Performance issues
Running this on medium settings on an RTX 2060 with DLSS on balanced but the game gets choppy when I'm in the city (which is most of the game), lowering the settings doesn't seem to do much.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issues or is there any setting I can change? Should I just wait for a patch?

this game only uses like 50 % usage of my 3080 ti AT 1440 P MAX SETTINGS AND I GET 110 FPS I AM ASSUMING ITS NOT YOUR CARD BUT OUR SLOW ASS CPU

My CPU should still be above the minimum specs.

1080p too so It's not like I'm asking for too much.

Perfectly useless response.

Did some preliminary testing and my CPU sits at 60% utilization and 50% of my GPU. I get roughly 40 - 50 fps at 1440p in the city with DLSS on any setting. I think DLSS might be bugged at the moment because swapping between any of them seems to make no difference.

Stutters on all systems/consoles. Refund if you still can. Jeez steam reviews think stutters are part of the cinematic experience. You will see, soon someone will tell you it runs flawless for them.

Swapping between any of graphical settings makes no difference. I tried changing resolution, enabling and disabling dlss. Nothing works or changes fps in same area.

Cap your frames to 60, helps mostly with the stuttering but is not perfect.

unfortunately that doesent help in my case because fps are MOSTLY 80-100 wit occational dips to 40. So even if i will cap it to 60 there are still those annoying dips to 40.

What solved stuttering for me was disabling rt. With rt enabled game is almost unplayable stutter fest. But nothing fixes frame drops for me.

I wasn't sure if the target framerate is an actual cap so I used the Nvidia panel to be sure but there's not much of a difference.

Target framerate is supposed to be cap, but at least for me it doesent do anything. Setting is broken.

To be fair I wouldn't know because I don't think my game wants to reach that framerate lol. The Nvidia panel should have done the tricky anyway so I don't think that's the issue.

I'm enjoying the game but it's hard to have fun with the combat when it drops to like 20 fps.

I hope they release a new patch or driver, otherwise I'll just wait.

If your cpu is used 100% and gpu a little then it means that your cpu is too weak for that gpu.

If you have integrated gpu in your cpu and game is using that instead of fiscreate one then you have to change your system settings in uefi/bios or nvidia control panel. Or you have some other setting. Regardless what it is game has nothing to do with it.

It's probably the same issue as with the new star wars game. You are bottlenecked by your io thoroughput, i.e. ram speed, nvme and overall newness of your cpu/motherboard. Otherwise you'll be in this weird situation where settings don't seem to be effecting much because data can't move fast enough. The reason for this is simple. Newer games are optimized for consoles which have the biggest audience. Consoles have weaker overall hardware, but their io speeds are extremely high. This is also why SSD's are required at a minimum for these modern games.

Maybe? I'm not sure what could be wrong since I built this pc from zero. Game is installed on a ssd too.

My CPU is a Ryzen 5 2600x.

For my pc, DLSS seemed to make things worse. I just ran with TXAA
