stay mad
this is the most schizophrenic comment I've ever seen;
1. white characters being black faced is the only way to overcome racism in comics
2. the hottest? selling comic 30 years ago had a black main character
3. the first major non dc comic movie (25 ish years ago) was based on a little know black comic character and people loved it
so do you want to fight the racism that hasn't existed for 3 decades with the characters people already like, or do you want to create new racism with the black faced characters that uhh at best are tolerated (nick fury excluded, but ppl just like sam jackson playing shaft in whatever character he was ment to be)
nick fury was lame before jackson and deadshot was a discount deathstroke before idras elba.
miles is better then peter and #notmyspiderman was trending when he was released.
You do care though. You even ran to the Steam forums to complain about it.
The issue is that back then, the motivations were different. There was less brazen racial hostility toward White people in media and pop culture, so people didn't mind that much (plus everyone likes Sam Jackson). So no, there generally isn't/wasn't an issue with Fury's MCU race, whereas current day race-swapping is done as an anti-White expression of critical theory and postmodernism.
my man living life as a victim in his own head.
Wow, gaslighting. What a formidable debating tactic. I tip my hat to you, sir.
you made up a whole backstory in your head how is that me gas lighting you? deadshot is black because idras elba made the character cool. not because someone wanted to hurt your feelings.
