They literally state in the game that the original was an imposter. Even though batman saw him in the arkham series without his mask and acknowledged him as the real dead shot. Batman doesn't see color, he's that cool.

Oh overread that, ok it's explained then somehow. But not a really goot solution then, but at least they tried.

Deadshot was in Arkham Origins too, and he was much cooler there than in City. They made him black this time because of the movie. They also based Harley from the movies because of money. The explanation and motivation is money.

Well, that's what these racists would say to justify that.

I like the scene where deadshot is paralyzed and Harley takes that opportunity to feel up his ass despite him yelling for her not to do it. Honestly consistent with the DC movies like Wonder Woman where her dead boyfriend takes over another guy’s body and she proceeds to sexually assault this body for weeks until the spell runs out. Then the guy wakes up with no recollection of what happened and Wonder Woman then proceeds to flirt with the clueless guy. This is all true by the way. A large budget film was devoted to making this plot and everyone was ok with it.

To be fair, the Ultimates came out way before the avengers. It was basically their dry run of the mcu movies. Fury is very intentionally drawn as Samuel L Jackson in it. They had their eye on casting him as Fury for years even by their own admission.

Idk, because of self-hate? It’s laziness to be honest. Can’t create their own, creatively bankrupt. Believed that if NTR Will Smith can work surely it’ll work in this game. No one asked for black deadshot. It’s a cop out and also a shield to use blacks against their bad practices.
