There are a minority of vocal morons believing everything they read, same with that video for the graphics. Good on you for checking.
Stop trolling the OP. They wanted to know for real.
OP, they are not "clones" they were mindcontrolled by Brainiac. The Batman that is humiliated and executed in this game IS the Arkham Batman. You go through a tour summarizing the previous games. He's mindcontrolled, and you execute him.
Wonder Woman somehow wasn't caught by Brainiac, and fights for a bit. But regardless, it is the real Justice League, and it is the Arkham Batman continuity.
Because everyone jumped on the hate train for this game and some of them have no actual clue what the hell they are talking about.
To be fair i think the story in SUICIDE SQUAD was clearly meant for hardcore DC fans which have way more info on the characters.
You might want to do some research yourself, buddy. The game is set in the Arkham verse, you go through a little amusement park summarizing the previous games. It was also advertised as a continuation of the Arkham games.
Dude i know it's based on the ARKHAM games, but the current storyline it follows is heavily based on the DCAU - NOT the DCEU.
A lot of the characters in DCAU hardcore fans will know info about their powers, backgrounds etc.
That makes so much sense, humans don't exactly have that kind of technology even in dc universe except maybe for luthor, but luthor is villain and hates the league so he wouldn't exactly go about developing a wonder cure.
Who else would exactly have the resources to do that? Well??
Have you played it? Flash's finger, Supermans Chest. King Shark and the ring? They are very clearly not the JL
Is that any less believable than finding magic maguffin tech that lets you counteract the speedforce, or a mutated superman that's no longer weak to Kryptonite? Because that's what this story does. I may agree with you that it's a silly plot contrivance, but this story is already plot contrivance city.
Yeah, someone thought that his was a good idea... Looks like a game made by Marvel fans or something.
I asked who in the dc universe would have the capability of developing a cure for the transformation done by a multiversal character like brainiac.
