Not even taken on any of the Justice League just yet but just wanted to get my initial thoughts out there

Gameplay - Combat is fun and chaotic, especially when using the movement systems to their fullest. Movement is extremely fun although it takes a little while to get used too, especially if you choose Captain Boomerang (my personal favourite) You have to manually aim his boomerangs to where you want to go, but his speed and agility make it insanely fun to zip around the map with. I highly recommend giving him a go

Story - Not experienced a whole lot just yet but the story aspects i have experienced have been great. The main 4 have some great chemistry and deliver some great and funny lines both in cut scenes and when out in the open world. Again Captain Boomerang is the highlight when it comes to this sort of thing although they are all great. And i cant forget about Kevin Conroy, having him back as Batman one last time has never failed to make me smile every time i hear him in my 6 hours so far

Performance - I'm writing this before the official launch so there is a chance there will be a day one patch that fixes this. (This is my experience on high graphics and no Ray Tracing) But performance is a little all over the place. I have a 3080 and my fps on average sticks to around 60-80 fps when outdoors, inside it can go into the hundreds. It can though drop heavily when outside. There is no exclusive full screen which ive seen as an annoying trend in lots of games recently. Frame rate locks are very limited, i use a 165hz monitor and the maximum i can lock it to is 82fps, even then when locked to that it reaches only into the 50's)

Graphics - Visually this game is pretty incredible. Its not the best looking game out there but all the same the character models are extremely detailed and well animated. The open world is full of small details and a lot of destructible objects. Lighting especially inside looks great

The main and only thing holding it back is the fact they for some reason decided to make it a live service which is ridiculous, especially locking it to always online (which they will apparently fix at a later date) The shop is only for cosmetics but even so the game really didn't need this aspect, a fully single player or simple coop game is all it needs to be, the live service aspect is simply holding it back

I would definitely recommend this game to those who are on the edge about it. While not perfect its far from a bad game, there is a lot of fun to be had, especially as a fan of DC. I wouldn't blame you for waiting for a discount or simply waiting for when its had a few updates

i thought the same, i hated marvels and gotham, in the end this is 100% better at least!! I did beat it , Ienjoyed it and iv done some end game and the end game is fantastic and itemization and build making is great and fleshed out!!

Here's the deal.. I've been reading everything and actively seeking out opinions from real players since I'm on the fence about this one...

Conclusion? Majority of real customers think the game isn't the disaster that non-buyers want it to be. Some love it, some think it's mid.. 'almost' no one that has actually played it thinks it's bad.

The game is fun, it's not a masterpiece but it's certainly not as bad as all these brainwashed sheep want you to believe. The hate campaign going on for this game is so obvious it's not even funny at this point.

combat is so fun. been looking for a casual singleplayer game to zone out to and this game definitely hits a spot. hopefully they remove live service, but that's my only major complaint.

The game is very mid because of repeated mission types and some of those mission types just aren't fun. I saw a YT put that the game is so fun and so boring. That is the only honest review I have seen. However I think the story is great, animations great, movement is great and the game runs fine for me at 1440P. 4070 and AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. Uncapped target frames on high at 144 and I am consistently around 140 except during cut scenes where it drops to aroun 90-100 for some reason.

I think the enemies aren't that interesting. Never cared for Brainiac. the encounter variety isn't great.

The Suicide Squad and Waller's performance is exceptional. they are what make the story worthwhile. Combat and traversal are good. loot is good as well. nice character progression. Suicide Squad has a lot to like.

So far I feel like this is the main issue of the game, the lack of enemy variety. It also feels like there is a story driven game underneath the Live service, it feels a bit odd at times.
