Always online? Not a Rant about Batman...
I've been watching streamers play and while I'm not too fussed about Batman, However... I find it quite bizarre how this game decided that being Always-online is a good idea? Constant server issues and disconnects from the game that prevented people from playing it.
We've seen this practice end badly when turning what is basically a Single player game in which you constantly have to be connected to play. They can argue about piracy or whatever similar statements we've seen before with other titles (Simcity as such) but we know it often inexcusable to commit.
With fans already pissed with how Batman has been treated and the constant server issues preventing from people playing, I'm expecting mixed reviews if not Mostly Negative to appear on the 2nd Feb.

As always, I'm expecting the usual; "We're hear your concerns" response later. I have no doubt people in the development process said this didn't need to be always online, But upper management decided to ignore lessons from the past and did it anyway.
