I think the Harley Quinn Jester costume is one the most iconic and sexiest designs in all DC/Marvel. And to remind you, there's nothing wrong with goofiness if it's done right. New 52 design is also not bad, but the Jester look is where it's at.

Rhino, Vulture or Scorpion from Spider-Man? They look goofy af too no? Or.. you know... Batman? A guy in a Bat costume? Superman wearing underwear over his pants? Looks goofy. But they're done right by visionary artisits/designers.

I actually think that he did look a bit goofy in Asylum and City.
I like iterations of him when he wears armor, like in Knight and Origins, with Origins one being my favourite. That way Dark Knight looks more like, you know, a knight.

Ah, exactly opposite of my taste. I don't like Batman wearing any armor besides his Tech suits like Beyond, Justice Buster, HellBat or Insider Suit. I like my base Batman in a skin tight suit like Neal Adams or Jim Lee designs. Minimalistic, impeccable masterpieces.

Young artists nowadays tend to overdesign stuff. Add armor here, shoulder pad there, unnecessary lines and details... Overcrowded and lack of any imagination. Both DC/MARVEL

Whenever I play Arkham Origins, I immediately change the suit to Long Halloween one. And, Knight costume is allright.
