Why are people whining about wokeness in this game?

The game is an issue because it's a live service, always online, cash grab that could've been something more.

NOT because they consulted with some diversity firm but somehow i'm seeing people use "wokeness" and anti-LGBT rhetoric to excuse why the game is bad? When in reality it's probably some old white dudes in suits who are making the real decisions.

Look at Bobby Kotick, dude got fired and left with 400 MILLION but for some reason we're attacking some low to mid level random graphic designer because she has a girlfriend?

Or some African American dude who ultimately just modeled the buildings? I seen these people's faces plastered all over negative social media post just for simply EXISTING at the company.

The real enemy is corporate greed, stop using LGBT as punching bag while completely ignoring the people in charge making the real decisions. I almost imagine most of these progressive campaigns are to bait gamers into blaming minorities so they can distract from the reality that it's the execs who are burning the house down.

Capitalism is the biggest cause of the decline of gaming.

Micro transactions, gambling addiction, loot crates, pay to win, selling games in piece meal snippets, charging full price for flawed garbage that "will get fixed later," relying on the community to fix their **** for free, (looking at you Bethesda) monopolistic growth removing competition and thus reducing quality and innovation, etc...

Like gaming is a microchasm of the absolute failures of capitalism.
Everything wrong with capitalism shows up on the gaming world.

And all gamers think is "Look at how feminism and diversity is ruining my video games!"

There is definitely manipulation from PR departments. But it's still sad that as a whole our community is so easy to be split apart.

Or maybe worse, as people we are so easy to be placed at odds against each other. We are becoming more and more tribal.

It sucks because it's the fall back whenever anything fails or succeeds it's either because it was against or for a minority group instead of anything anyone actually dislikes. So average gamers get grouped into whatever politics people decided to play. I hate that the game is always online and the micro transactions always suck but then you see everyone saying they hate it because it's "woke" and it's kinda cringe and undermines the actual issues in modern gaming.

But we need to see the reality that it's DRM, Execs, and greedy practices hurting games

Like i said, some pride flag in a video game isn't letting go of 5000 people after a game sells record breaking numbers, but an exec trying to impress shareholders is.
