Why all the hate?

I was skeptical off this game at first, but i'm a dc fan so i thought i would give it a chance. And thank the gods i did! i cannot speak for the end-game content yet, but the story is really good and the game play is super fun. It is a Rocksteady game 100% with it's own ideas and a good story. Yeah it is live service and yeah it is a looter-shooter, which both are genres that have a really bad rep for good reasons. But that does not mean all looter-shooters are bad eggs, even tho we have had a lot of them lately. I fell this game have been given tons of hate because big media outlets like "IGN" wants it to cause they suck at the game and complain that the flash (fastest man alive) is to fast so they can't hit him.

All i'm trying to say it that i think it is sad that a lot off people will not give this game a chance cause of the bad rep its genres have and that media outlets like "IGN" are giving it a bad rep. I feel it's almost become a trend at this point to hate the game, and that also goes for a lot of other games cause media outlets and streamers tell us to.

Cash shop is not a negative thing in my eyes as long as it is JUST cosmetics, which it is. Just don't buy em. The rumored Batman beyond game and Superman game are both confirmed by Rocksteady themselves where never in the making nor canceled. They where working on a live service game BEFORE SS. Another studio was working on SS but dropped it, and Rocksteady picked it up and merged it with its live service ideas.

Constant delays have happened to all games since covid, so then we can hate on everyone. "looking at you stalker 2".

Welcome to the future of gaming, they all have this now only problem here is Denuvo but what proof do you have that the cancelled Batman game would be any good?

I'm also tired of those practices when done WRONG. I'm not saying they are done right here cause they will really show in the late game if they are, but until then i'm having a blast with it and it is a good story game. Offline mode is coming, but i agree it's bad to not have it on launch.

If you think IGN is the reason you're very out of reality, IGN always encourages dummies to buy everything mostly and people criticizicing a game with valid points never listen to that squared and limited reviewer.

homey they made harley quinn 10x more ugly than she should be so u would be more willing to buy skin. if thats not predatory idk what is. besides the game will be free eventually or dumb cheap

The cancelled Batman game was never in the makings. Rocksteady newly shut down those rumors themselves. Same goes for the super man game. But yeah, live service is not bad when done right. Denuvo is trash tho-

I mean I’m sorry if you can’t afford it. But this is the most player friendly game in recent times. No FOMO, no vaulted content, no p2W and you can do the battle pass anytime even after the season ends

All i'm trying to say is that i do not understand all the hate. 80% of the people hating on the game have not even played it so then you can not speak off it. That's my point. It's alright to not like a game and have different opinions, but i feel some games get undeserved hate from time to time cause off trends and bad reps from previous games in the same genres.

People have hated on it since it was first shown without playing it. First it started off as "ah so rocksteady is not making a Superman game, me angry", then it went to "buhu it's a looter shooter". People where angry from the start cause the superman rumors where not true. I think the game is judged way to early and by people not playing it. Hell its technically not even out yet.

I have decided not to support this practices, I am not saying that the game is bad, I like what I see, the characters, and the looter shooters, but I have grown tired of what I mentioned in my previous post.

I can't say much about the offline mode, I just don't believe the devs, they always make promises that they never keep (in general, not from Rocksteady).

Now add to that that WB reduces their prices a lot and very quickly, which makes me think that not even they trust their product.

Maybe with a good discount I'll end up buying it, but I'm talking about a lot of discount.

And that's a totally fair point and something that i can respect, even stand with. This is the first live-service game i have purchased in a LONG time, cause i also think that.
