There are very reasonable arguments about why people are scared the game will be bad. I pre-ordered the deluxe edition. I really, REALLY hope it will be good. But im not delusional either. So your gonna block me because im reasonably skeptical? Edit: Cyberpunk became, literally, what Starfield should had been from the start,so yeah, easy defend.
Plus it was a single player game, so you could forget about it and come back at any time without missing out. I personally refunded the game at launch, picked it up at half price after the 2.0 update and ended up loving every second of my 70 hour playthrough.
Try coming back to Suicide Squad after a year or two and rather than a much improved experience you're far more likely to find the game is unplayable. Live service games need to grab, and maintain an active base of players in order to justify the developers/publishers pouring more money into ongoing content and updates. There's no room for error and no second chances if the game doesn't work out at launch.
SS will be rubbish at launch because it at its core it is a bad game: a cash grabbing Live Service. This cannot be fixed without fundamentally remaking the entire game.
It received bugg fixes and patches and 1 out of 3 promised DLC and no NG+ because to hard.
And this is just garbage.
to me both studios are crap XD
Edit : Work was postponed because they suddenly decided to have keanu reeves in it, and NG+ wich was pushed back and back and eventually promised to be part of the first DLC was suddenly not going to happen anymore followed by Idres Alba being announced for the DLC.
CDPR screwing over customers to meet actors.
CDPR almost always release games with a great foundation in a... let's say, less than desirable state and then fix them with Definitive Editions.
It's just kind of a stepdown compared to the previous Witcher games, and I actually don't enjoy the setting too much.
