Changing Deadshot this way is inexcusable. They could use Will Evans Deadshot if they wanted black Deadshot so much.
I am really tired to talk to people who don't care. You acting all cool and calm until it is all too late for you.
nice slippery slope buddy
Only thing I will 100% harass them if they won't add Justice League playable, at least in paid DLC in a span of the year or two since the release. THEN will be virtual cartooney digital "blood", I swear.
I am just pointing out at stupid decisions. Runining their own Arkhamverse. At least say this isn't really Arkhamverse, how hard can That be.
Also they should add other Suicide Squad members, if King Shark, Harley (who looks rather like her pre pub daughter), inclusive (for movies people) Deadshot and probably son of a Boomerang (judging by his speed force powers) Is all? No no no no.
Also don't love how they not only ALL have guns, but dedicated guns. Instead of like just their standard powers/abilities , but can pick up assault rifle or machine gun lying on the ground.
Or that Deadshot already has jetpack. And Harley uses grappling hook instead of Pego Stick or something. Just overall thing looks more like DC comics inspired third person moba shooter thing like Gotham City Imposters, rather than an actual DC comics game with DC characters using dedicated arsenal from all previous comics, films, cartoons and nothing more (like their own Batman games which are just amalgamation of all devices from comics, Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Chris Nolan movies)
And I think Stenton actually wanted to do Superman videogame, but WB in their everalsting brilliance forced them to do this instead. So If I will be harassing it is WB, not Rocksteady.
EDIT: Funny, just realized the thread title "The problem with Deadshot"
LMAO mofo there is no problem with Deadshot, the only problem he is that your a biggot ass.
He's a race swap. He has a lot of plot padding to make the race swap less annoying, but it's still a very obvious race swap. Miles himself is a good kid, though, and kind of a cool character if you ignore his reason for existing. The people who created him as a race swap are the ones you need to blame. Like many bad things in comic books, Bendis did it
There's also Blackrock to think about. If being woke got you millions of dollars, you'd be woke
He is that mix of Tony Stark and Deathstroke, humorous , sharp tongue , sarcastic , love his familly , had suffered great loss , he had a rich backstory in the comics . His mustache is a trade mark as well as being always smoking .
He had two live-action version in series ( that i know ). One in Smallville and other in Arrow, in both they are just generic dudes that dons't look the part and are basiclly mute .All they have in common with Lawton were the name , the monocle and shooting .
In the movie , i think the race swap was really unnecessary , for cast diversity they could have easily used Bronze Tiger that is one of the greatest martial artists of DC universe .
Lawton personallity is not there too , in the movie he is mostly serious and stoic save for some quips here and there .
But even in comic books it seems DC doens't care for those well defined traits as he was completely changed in the new 52 , turned into a generic guy like the ones from Smallville and Arrow
The cartoons got him right tho , in Justice League unlimited he was great
♥♥♥♥ off
Changing phyisical appearance of ALREADY established character will always be stupid.
Unless ofc big twist will be that this Floyd is actually Will Evans .
Anyways. Just hope there will be classic Deadshot costume from comics.
I know i would and alread had . When Wanted was adapted i was mad they changed Fox race , the character was made to be played by Hale Berry .
Tho , the double standards do exist .There was that girl who wrote for some entertaiment site , she would complain when white poeple were cast in anime adaptations and then said
"deal with it " , when disney changed ariel's race for the Little Mermaid live-action .
So i believe it really depends on the person . In my case i like to see adaptations being true to the original characters , unless the casting is specially good , like Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury ( that was basically cast by Mark Millar years before on Ultimates ) or Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin ( this Daredevil movie is my guilty pleasure , and i think MCD as Kingpin will be the best KP forever) .
you are out of your mind.
