Maybe contact Jagex team and ''cook'' something together,if they still exist. Its still early access,maybe graphics improvements or building community.

Dude, the game costs 4.99€ and I think the price is justified when you consider that two "small" developers are developing the game. In addition, it is still early access. Sure, there are currently almost no players online, but that is probably because the community is not big enough or not enough people know about it, most of the people who play it are OG Ace of Spades players. On some days we can easily play with enough players. You had the choice to buy it or not, so I don't understand this comment at all.

AoS was also a paid game. What is your point?

the one published on steam by jagex was paid, THE ORIGINAL game before the jagex acquisition version however was free (which can still be played and is now called build and shoot).

I actually have to agree with the developer, i'd rather them be able to have the resources and funds to be able to develop the game, but its undeniable that a big strength of the original game was the ability to just hop into the game for free.
