That's the thing, there's no option to fire the employees, I would have thought that would have been implemented from release.

I've seen someone stop paying her (turn off auto pay). Eventually, she will be on the sidewalk protesting, but at least she won't be messing up.

I store the drink boxes infront of the drink machines.. and the other stuff in the large room. it is much more useful that way:

You should probably unlock everything but she is useless to me, because she puts random stuff on shelves instead of what was before. e.g. if you run out of a product instead of placing that product, she will happily place any random other item instead, blocking the shelves from being stocked properly and leading to leaving complaining customers.

I unlocked her and tried many times to make her work but to me she is worse than manual stocking, even fully maxxed.

The Only question i have is... Why do you unlock the storage so late in the game? I mean i buy alot stuff for the shelfs upfront. But everything is laying on the ground infront of the store....Storage should be unlocked already about Laundry level 3 and not 6 ...

I think this will drive me crazy until they update her. I will just wait because I can unlock her now but I've seen so many complaints about her...

What I'd recommend you for now is to turn-off auto-pay, and only pay the other employees. It's the only way to "fire her".

How does it affect the game to allow them to protest outside for a long period of time?

Also, so far she hasn't messed up. I put 6 of each box on the shelves in storage room and she has been working out. She stocks when I have about 3 items left and hasn't messed up yet. I've been playing for 2 hrs since I made a mistake and unlocked her. Lol

Edit: Okay she messed up the stock room...smh 😒

if you run out of something she will put whatever, then it cascades . i think i will end up with all of one product
