Missing Person Posters

Soooo. A quick curiousity question. Did anyone figured out the deal with missing people from the posters? I mean in about 150 game days worth of gameplay I spotted the person once and she ran away when approached. Similar thing happens in few videos I saw on youtube. Just curious about it ;)

the slender man behind the fence (crawl through hole) reappears in front of his poster, giving you a painting. the others aren't implemented.

i tried to call the phone number on the child one and nothing happens

I've seen it several times, but I can't decipher the number on the poster :/

call 911, not the number on the poster. hope this helps! ^_^

call 911, not the number on the poster. hope this helps! ^_^

I can confirm. With the latest update (what is it? 4.4?) the child does not run away, you can interact with him and eventually dial 911

The other two women in the posters now have their own lore as well.

For me, the missing woman (Smiley) kept standing in front of the store but would run away when I approached her.
After I finished the lost kid's quest by calling 911, Kun (spooky lady in a dress) appeared with her own quest line. Some point towards the end of her quests, Little Smiley comes by asking for me to keep an eye out for Smiley. Smiley will appear later on with a quest marker.
